Achieve Beyond is a growing national agency focused on serving children with special needs by providing autism services, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and other related services. We are currently looking to hire an Evaluations Specialist to join our growing team in our Forest Hills office.


The Evaluations Specialist is responsible for ensuring all children referred for evaluations receive high quality and accurate evaluations.

  • Responsible for submitting high volume of evaluation packets to the district on a monthly basis
  • Administrative/clinical QA for all evaluation reports, IEP goals, and indicator 7s
  • Compiles and organizes each child’s evaluation packet to send to parent and DA.
  • Ensures packets are sent to the district in a timely manner.
  • Follow up for report submission and entering into Internal database.
  • Follow up for updated medicals needed for each child evaluations.
  • Maintains positive relationship with all city District Administrators.
  • CLAIMS documentation of all case activities.
  • Maintains and creates relationship with internal and external service coordinators as well as daycare/HeadStart educational directors to maintain a healthy referral volume.
  • Conducts all evaluation orientations for new providers and in-person/phone ongoing support for evaluators who need assistance or guidance.
  • Facilitate in-house evaluation trainings to ensure adherence to CPSE and federal guidelines.
  • Participates in IEP meetings when necessary

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Special Education, Birth – 2 or 1- 6 Certification
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be organized, motivated, and willing to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Previous exposure to EI and CPSE programs/IFSP and IEP meetings a plus.
