Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The Senior Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for the full credentialing cycle of Achieve Beyond providers for New York State-sponsored Early Intervention and special education programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process new hire packets and follow up with providers to obtain all needed documentation for program compliance
  • Follow up with providers for expiring and expired documentation to ensure providers remain in compliance
  • Update provider information in databases, including status, program, name, address changes, etc.
  • Process submitted provider documentation and training
  • Partake in internal and external credentialing audits and special projects
  • Maintain mailboxes and internal database for document processing
  • Assist in the processing and issuing of training certificates and hours
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal departments, such as Recruiting and Provider Relations
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager

Education Or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of one year experience working in an office (preferably in a healthcare setting).
  • Team player who readily adapts to change and can switch tasks and priorities seamlessly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle a large volume of emails/phone calls
  • Ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods up to 90% of the workday working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation: Full-time salary, exempt, $65,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30 pm Must Be Willing To Work Overtime As Needed. This position is in office.
